About the programme
The Immigration Mentorship and Practical Internship Programme is for people who want practical knowledge, professional skills and a career in South African immigration services.
Unlike courses that focus mainly on theory, it is built around applying South African immigration legislation, Department of Home Affairs procedures and the preparation and management of real immigration applications.
Whether you are starting out, expanding what you already know, or planning your own immigration consultancy, you get personalised training and practical guidance for the next step.

This is an independent mentorship programme offered by Immigration Solutions SA to transfer practical skills and knowledge. We assist you with the process of registering with the relevant association and preparing to write the annual examination required for qualification, subject to the association's requirements.
Suitable participants may work on selected files under supervision. All practical participation is subject to client consent, confidentiality requirements, appropriate supervision and applicable legal and professional requirements. The programme does not give independent authority to represent clients or make decisions on behalf of the Department of Home Affairs.
The mentorship programme has no expiry date. You can keep using our systems to manage your clients' cases and receive ongoing practical support for as long as you need.
